Both work by building strenghth which is quite the opposite of moisturizing products. Also, when l used No 1 & 2 as a treatment at the salon my (virgin) hair was suuuper stiff and dull.

Yea, it definitely shines the most when hair is more damaged to begin with. :) Fine, fragile hair is a bit of a different animal though, as this hair type can show visible signs of damage from everything from sun exposure to hair ties, rough brushing, etc. In these cases Olaplex is really important to prevent damage and maintain hair health.
