Whenchanging the Oil and Filter, I use 5.5 Quarts (5.204 Liters) - so I know I am safely in the operating range. If after 4-5 days the Infotainment oil level isn't reading FULL, I start by adding small amounts of oil - i.e. 95 ml and then watch the level for 5 days before adding another 95 ml (maximum).

Engine has been running no less then 5 minutes before shutdown. switch off engine, ignition on. wait with engine off, ignition on at least 5 minutes. read oil level. it can take some time though.
Afterthat the true oil level should be registered and displayed. Each bar of the possible eight maximum displayed represents 250 ml (about half a pint) approximately. The 2018 model year manual describes a slightly different procedure and the display has only six bars rather than eight.
