The 5D Mark III is evolutionary more than revolutionary. The biggest upgrade is with the autofocus system. Canon upgraded the 1 cross-type center AF point to a 61 point array which contains 41 cross-type points. Now the AF system is comparable to Canon's professional 1D series. High ISO noise is improved significantly.
